Description

The Liberty Head 4 Coin Set is comprised of all 4 denominations of the coin, which include the $20 Liberty Head, $10 Liberty, $5 Liberty, and $2.5 Liberty.

Liberty coins are ideal investments for our times. They are highly recognized, minted by the most trusted mint in the world, and have a low premium.

By acquiring all four coins together, it enables us to get them to you about $350 less than what you would be paying for all four of them individually.

The largest denomination of United States coins authorized by the Mint Act of 1792 was the eagle or ten-dollar piece.

The large amount of bullion being brought east after the discovery of gold in California in the 1840s caused Congress to consider new denominations of gold coinage. The gold dollar and double eagle were the results.

After considerable infighting at the Philadelphia Mint, Chief Engraver James B. Longacre designed the double eagle, and it began to be issued for commerce in 1850. Only one 1849 double eagle is known to survive and it rests in the National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian.

The coin was immediately successful; merchants and banks used it in trade.

The $20 was replaced by the Saint-Gaudens double eagle in 1907, and many were melted when President Franklin D. Roosevelt recalled gold coins from the public in 1933. The $10, $5, and $2.5 Liberty coins were also struck until 1907 and were replaced by the Indian Head coin.

Millions of Liberty Heads were sent overseas in international transactions throughout its run to be melted or placed in bank vaults. Many of the latter have now been repatriated to feed the demand from collectors and those who desire to hold gold.

Liberty Head coins have excellent liquidity and because of their illustrious history, they’ll always trade well above the spot price.

These Liberty Head coins are in extra fine condition and they are perfect compliments to your non-tangible assets like stocks or cryptocurrency.

If you are concerned about confiscation, then you should certainly acquire these well-aged Liberty Head coins.

They are in very fine condition and make a strong case for exempt “collectible” coins.

In contrast, modern bullion coins would have no reasonable claim to exemption.

Modern bullion or cull coins may be cheaper; however the Liberty Head 4 Coin Set enables you to get a big bang for your buck while acquiring a part of our country’s history.

Gold is tangible, ownership is discreet, and since 1971 it has increased 15% on average when inflation is over 3%.
